The New Year

Now it’s 2013.

I am actually at the very early stages of a 2-month around-the-world overdue honeymoon, so there will be very little work-related posts here. I do have our shiny new Sony A-99 with my old trusty Minolta 28-100mm lens and a new cheap Tamron 75-300mm, as well as a Holga filled with black and white film. I figured I’d take one black and white artsy photo in each country and see what happens.

The only major news for me is that I’m officially an NBC Directing Fellow. I’ll be starting just about the day I get back in late February on “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” shadowing for two episodes. It’s really amazing to get selected for this – I was up against some stiff competition and talented directors.

So when I get back, it’ll be on set for several weeks in New York City. Very excited and honored to be part of such an established and enduring show – it’ll be a lot of fun.

My apologies in advance for the lack of posts before then. Here’s to 2013 – a year of making movies and television.
